From Your Story to Art

Every piece begins with a moment worth remembering.
It begins with a private consultation, where we understand your aesthetic, your story, and your intent.

Our Bespoke Process

Step 1

Studio appointment

Tell us your story. What are you looking create? Are you celebrating a milestone? Are there particular stones you'd like to have in this piece and why? This is your chance to go through the nitty gritty of what you'd like to put into your bespoke piece and dive into our gem inventory to find your treasure.

Step 2

Pick a focal gemstone

Once you've met THE gemstone, secure it by paying for it first. Then it's yours, no matter what happens moving forward. If you see something you like, get it first because the exact natural gemstone does not come around twice.

Step 3

Discuss a design

Here is where being at the studio helps. You can go through the various designs we already have at our studio.

Show us screenshots of what you like. Jewellery, furniture, paintings, landscapes, clothes, colour scheme, anything that let's us get into your mind. We don't copy other jewellery designs but seeing what you like helps us understand your jewellery design preferences better.

Step 4

Deposit before sketching

The design deposit kick starts the sketching process. We typically provide 2-3 sketches based on our discussion, with up to 3 further design revisions before moving on to the gem mock up stage.

Step 5

Gem mock up

Like the design sketches, we provide about 2-3 options for gem mock ups based on our gem stone availability, and our discussion about your preferences with up to 3 mock up revisions.

Step 6

Finalising the design

Once the design and gemstones are finalised, we will prepare the final sketch and mock up with details such as ring size, gold colour and labelling of the side stones used in the piece. There will be a quote for you based on our craftsman's estimation of gold needed for the piece, the design intricacies, and the side gem stones chosen.

Do give a buffer for the quote to allow for fluctuations in gold prices, or human errors in gold amount needed (sometimes a piece is thicker or thinner than it should be because of a design)

Step 7

The crafting stage

This is the next stage of hard work that clients don't see as we spend weeks working with our craftsman.

This takes about 6-8 weeks typically but can stretch much more for more complex and bigger pieces.

More complex designs, or anything that requires components to be detached.

Step 8

The final product!

All the hard work culminates to this unveiling that gets us so excited EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

The final cost will only be given here, with the deduction of the design deposit, and subject to GST.
